Introducing Our Spin Off Series: Love This Food Thing Pets

We have a new Thing, at Love This Food Thing, called Love This Food Thing Pets.

LTFTP is our picture gallery where we feature your favourite pet pics and vids alongside a brief description about their relationship with food.

We know that many of you, like us, are animal lovers.

It might be that you have a pet or you avoid meat or are vegan or that you work with animals or that you’re involved with animal rights.

The ways we love our animals can be expressed in many ways.

We are all sentient beings, despite human efforts to hierarchise the natural world and disconnect we are very much part of Nature, in fact we are Nature.

How do you feed your pets? Do you find it easier to nourish and care for them more than you do for yourself?

My husband’s family dogs, way back in the 70’s, used to eat the flat toffee’s no-one else wanted at Christmas - he does an excellent impression of a Labrador chewing a toffee, frantically.

Ours were dished out some tinned concoction that rhymes with Happy we never fed them from the table, nor were they allowed leftovers but now my Mum has a dog that eats carrots, cucumber and apple chunks – from the table!

A horse whisperer friend said his horses bust out from their field to meadow the other night and ate so much that they could barely move when they came into the stables for the day. All were put on the naughty step!

If you’d like your pet to be featured, we’d love to hear from you.

Simply fill out the details below introducing your beloved pet, and we’ll be in touch with the next steps!
